2 Civilians were killed when an arsonist terrorized the city for 90 minutes in the middle of the night. In all, there were 11 confirmed fires started including structures and vehicles. It was later discovered that the perpetrator attempted to light several additional fires that burned themselves out before being reported.

After a joint investigation involving local, state, and federal investigators, a suspect was arrested after only a few days. It is believed he may also be responsible for a string of other suspicious fires over the past several years in the same area.
