This memorial was a gift from the Halland & Knight Law Firm who lost a partner in the September 11, 2001 attacks. The partner was also a volunteer firefighter.

The memorial is attached to the fire station, located across from the WTC site. It is a series of bronze plaques spanning the side of the station. A depiction of September 11th sits atop the names of all firefighters who were lost. On the left of the memorial wall is a diamond shaped plaque that reads:
