| Notes:
The fire was discovered just before 5am by a janitor in a building across the street. Within minutes, several rooms were involved. The hotel was a popular place because of a bar and cafeteria. It was also the first hotel in the state to have running water in every room.
I'm not sure if there is a memorial to this fire, but I thought it sounded pretty interesting.
