Standing in front of the Police / Fire Headquarters in Burbank is this monument to public safety personnel. It is actually two bronze statues from the waist up. One police officer. One firefighter. The statues rest atop a polished granite pedestal.
Etched in the granite are the words:

DEDICATED TO PROTECTING LIVES AND PROPERTY
