Fire on the Mountain: The True Story of the South Canyon Fire is the first book I have featured as a memorial. The fire took place in Glenwood Springs, CO. I have a large list that need to be added, but I've been working on some other features and organizational aspects of the site for the last few days. Bradley Beach Firemen Memorial added to Bradley Beach, NJ. 4/22/08 "To Lift A Nation," located in Emmitsburg, MD, was added. The Maryland Fallen Firefighters Memorial, located in Annapolis, MD, was added. The Great Hoboken Pier Fire in Hoboken, NJ was added. The Springville Firefighter Memorial in Springville, NY was added. The Arcade Volunteer Fire Company Memorial in Arcade, NY was added. 4/18/08 Yarmouth, MA was the first contributor to the site. A friend of mine from the Mass Fire Academy sent me information on the Peter A. Raiskio Memorial. The Station Nightclub Fire in West Warwick, RI was added. Although there is not a pemanent memorial to the event yet, one is being planned. The new menu on the left was developed to replace the drop-down menu. This new style is a little easier to navigate.
