The monument was built in memory of the tragedy that took place in the suburb of Collinwood. It is a large granite memorial with a plaque naming each of those lost.
The bodies burried at the site of this memorial are the 19 students who were never identified after the disaster. |

A walkway with a granite memorial dedicated to fallen police and firefighters. On top of the granite pillar are a bronze fire helmet, police cap, and dove. The four sides of the pillar are engraved.
