This monument is a larger than life statue of a firefighter kneeling down with one hand on the ground and another on his forehead as if in prayer. The statue sits atop a black granite monument that sits in the center of a small courtyard. Surrounding the courtyard are engraved black granite monuments dedicated to fallen firefighters. Behind the small courtyard are three flag poles. The entire memorial is located in a large park between O St and Vine St. |
