| Notes:
This interesting monument commemorates the firefighters of a community that no longer exists. In 1998, the community of Bonnie Doone became part of the City of Fayetteville.
The monument is a granite podium decorated with bronze emblems on each side. On the front is a bronze oversized replica of the patch that once served the Bonnie Doone Fire Department. On top there is a bronze maltese cross among the words:
1956 - 1998
42 YEARS OF SERVICES
[Maltese Cross]
THIS MONUMENT IS DEDICATED
TO THE COMMUNITY ALL PAST
RETIRED AND DECEASED

|
The monument sits in front of a Fire / Police Station. |
