Notes:

A bronze statue of a firefighter climbing a ladder out of rubble while holding a small child. There is a memorial wall behind the statue etched with the names of professional fire fighters who have given their lives in the line of duty.

This memorial was built by the International Association of Fire Fighters. Each September, the Wall of Honor is updated and re-dedicated with a ceremony honoring those who have given their lives.

Upgrades continue as efforts to remember fallen heroes continue. On September 15, 2001, a new section of the memorial was dedicated, just four days after the September 11th attacks on our country.
